Hey Travis, it’s kinda weird. The only tournaments people really care about are the Majors (per the numbers those article got), but…
The Masters comes at a brutal time to do the research necessary for an article (right after MM, hockey coming in hot)… then by The Open, it’s July and people aren’t as stoked about golf.
So really only the PGA (the lamest of the majors) and the U.S. Open come at a time where it’s both (maybe) worth doing readership-wise, and when I could actually do it time-wise.
Instead, squeezing it into the pod is something of a compromise.
Fair enough! I just liked the written articles because they were easy to refer back to when shopping around before the tournament. FYI I do read all your content though, regardless of whether they're on sports I bet on or not haha
Hey no problem, you already cover a lot of sports so I get that it's a big work load to add even more and do it in a way that meets your typical in-depth pieces. I just read whatever you put out!
Have you thought about doing some golf-specific articles like at the Score?

Brother, I get it, and appreciate it. Relatively speaking, they are a lot of work relative to you and I being the “only” ones that into it. Haha.
It also doesn’t help that the LIV players being in, but without good metrics to look at, complicates things further.

Thanks man. If people were knocking down the doors for golf, believe I’d be all about it!
